NIA Caraga Personnel led by Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Section Head, Engr. Melina I. Horserada, along with its staff went to five (5) Communal Irrigation Systems (CIS) in Surigao del Norte, namely: Mainit CIS, Mayag CIS, Tagayan CIS, Tigbawan CIS and Alipao CIS earlier this day to validate the status of its respective dams and canals.
Also, Engr. Melina talked with the respective presidents of Irrigators Associations of the said CISs with regards to their concerns regarding the damages of their dams and canals. She made sure that all of their problems and concerns will reach to the top management.
