NIA Caraga Acting Regional Manager June Nathaniel S. Plaza call a meeting to see the greater pictures of the Force Account Works in the region to monitor its status and ensure that their completion will be fast tracked. The meeting was attended by IMO Managers, Assistant IMO Managers and Construction Head.
Newly installed Acting Regional Manager June Nathaniel S. Plaza presented the NIA Caraga’s status of accomplishment as of June 30, 2021 during the 1st Semestral Managers' Conference held thru virtual.
The 3-day conference (July14-16, 2021) was attended by the NIA Top Management, Department Heads, Regional, Project, Division and Irrigation Management Office Managers.

Presided by NIA Administrator Gen Ricardo R Visaya, Outgoing Acting Regional Manager Estelita S. Sumile handed over the duties and responsibilities to Incoming Acting Regional Manager Engr. June Nathaniel S. Plaza held in NIA Caraga Conference Room, Bancasi, Butuan City on July 7, 2021.
The ceremony was successfully conducted and witnessed by the NIA Top Management Officials MGen Romeo G Gan, Deputy Administrator for Administrative and Finance Sector and Ms. Eden Victoria C. Selva, PAIS Acting Department Head who joined thru virtual. The NIA Caraga management and staff also attended the ceremony to support both officials.
“She is not perfect, but in time of challenges and problems that the region encountered in implementing the different programmed activities, still they managed to succeed” Outgoing Official, Engr. Sumile said during her speech.
The returning son of Caraga, Incoming Official Engr. Plaza accepted the challenge as Acting Regional Manager of NIA Caraga. He is also honored to be chosen to lead the region and he expressed during his message that it is a huge responsibility, but with his experiences he has enough know-how to handle a bigger coverage of supervision.
Both officials were thankful to NIA Caraga for their support and cooperation.

Signing of Marketing Agreement between BOAN Barangay Irrigation Development Association (BBIDA), Inc. and NIA Employees Association for Solidarity and Progress (NIAESP) in support to the Government’s effort in reducing incidents of Hunger and Poverty in the country through the DSWD-led Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger & Poverty (EPAHP) Program.
The National Irrigation Administration Agusan del Sur Irrigation Management Office (NIA ADS-IMO ) Acting Division Manager, Engr. Peter E. Pablo, inked the MOA together with Mr. Paul Albert E. Celeste - NIAESP Chairman & its officials , Institutional Development Staff and Mr. Joel Amas Chairman of BOAN BIDA Inc. as well as the Board of Trustees.
